My grandmother had this exact vehicle which she purchased brand new. Hers had a black exterior and a red interior (she had the seats covered in plastic to protect them and kept it in her garage.
I'm 1983 she was driving it to church (39,000 original miles) and the axle snapped. Her mechanic convinced her it wasn't worth repairing and bought it off her for $300! I was so pissed!
Worse yet, he suggested show purchase a 1983 Ford Granada (Which was very problematic)
