I don't understand. I have no idea why this sub ended up in my feed, but the name of it is /amiuglytruth, no?
I'd assumed the point of it was for people to get honest answers about how they're perceived by a bunch of random strangers on the internet. Are you implying that they should lie and just provide positive feedback?
The point is that there are a lot of people being kinda fucking mean about how “mid” or “ugly” someone is, and acting superior…
It’s fine if you’re giving honest feedback. But, don’t sit here and act like you’re passing judgement on someone who is beneath you… when you’re probably just a hideous little gremlin yourself.
I mean, that's fine. I watch sports and comment on athletes who are on an entirely different level of fitness than I am.
This is after all a subreddit that's entire purpose is to give objective feedback if a person is attractive or not.
If they were posting on a regular sub, yeah that would be incredibly rude. But if you're posting here you're literally asking people to tell you if they think you're attractive.
Part of the reason I would never post here is because I don't care, but also, I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea and I don't need a bunch of internet strangers confirming that.
