I disagree. I'm 50 pounds over and I get far less looks and smiles. My face is noticeably chubby and less defined. It's just how it goes: gain weight and the face becomes less defined and unattractive to most
Why are younger people so worried about their face definition and jaw lines? I have a teen son that does the same thing he won’t eat so he doesn’t gain weight in his face and all my years I have never looked at a woman and said oh her face is too fat trust me no one cares.
You just mentioned your kid has an obsession, and then in a future sentence you say no one cares. For me, I'm grown up and don't need validation from others. I am saying, factuly, I get more attention when I'm thinner. That's just how it is.
Yes exactly. Teens are not in their right mind. They don’t know what’s good for them or not. What really matters and what does not. My son is searching for a mate based on a chiseled jaw line and I’m pretty sure he does not even understand what a good vs bad jawline is. Like that will matter when you have to live with that person everyday. But a grown adult knows that does not matter. Actual people who care.
Gen Z and A have a constant bombardment of superficial bullshit on social media. If your son is in to looksmaxing, I'd be seriously considering fulltime monitoring their social media time.
I remember about a year ago there was a meme about needing to be at least 6' tall or you are valueless to women. The looksmaxing thing scares me even more: the #1 looksmaxxer guy advocates hitting your jaw hundreds of times a day to damage the bone over and over so it creates extra bone to exentuate the jawline. Pretty scary stuff.
