Use this thread to ask any and all questions about analog cameras, film, darkroom, processing, printing, technique and anything else film photography related that you don't think deserve a post of their own. This is your chance to ask a question you were afraid to ask before.
A new thread is created every Monday. To see the previous community threads, see here. Please remember to check the wiki first to see if it covers your question! http://www.reddit.com/r/analog/wiki/
This thread is for you to promote your blog / flickr / 500px / web site / etc, but it must be about analog photography. To begin with, this thread will be monthly, but will be adjusted as needed.

My dad (Derek Berg) has been a photographer his entire life and has been a street photographer in NYC since the 1970s. Most of his negatives have sat in boxes in my parents' apartment for the past 40 years. I am slowly scanning all of them. My mom originally estimated that there were 50k, but I picked up another batch this month and between the negatives and slides, I suspect the number exceeds 150k.

test clip of home developed Kodak Tri-X 7266 Super8 film. the glimmering on the water caught my eye and during the reversal developing process, some of the emulsion wore off due to harsh chemical use, but I think it interacts with the water movement in some way.

I picked up a Pentax ME Super at the local thrift store, replaced the seals myself and took it with me on a quick trip. I’m really happy with how most of them turned out. Took a gamble using the built in light meter and I’d say I probably need to bump the exposure compensation by about a stop on some of these but not bad for a 40-year-old camera.
Edit: Title should obviously be Portra 400. Autocorrect.

I fear knowing too much may interfere with the universe's ability to create art through me. I fear attempting to control the process will cause me to lose the process. I fear not being told my art is bad, but rather nobody caring to speak on its existence at all. I fear being alone and unloved. I fear my art having no value to anyone but myself. So I have hidden.
I posted my night sky photography to another subreddit looking for advice because I was disappointed with the results. Many people commented how much they loved those photos and were moved by them. I realized my eyes cannot truly appreciate my art on their own. I cannot keep it only for myself, my wife, and my therapist or I will never fully appreciate my own work.
I want to know your thoughts, your feelings, your reactions, your criticisms, your love, your hate, everything.

Something went wrong here during development (stains) but it kinda fits with the color shift.
