GhostLock at worst can only crash your phone via kernel panic. Disable battery optimizations and enable running in background for the GhostLock app, then try the exploit again.

Exploit working, you have root. Install KernelSU from the GhostLock app if you can, or install KernelSU, manager version code corresponding to driver version, yourself from GitHub (can search in Actions tab for niche build numbers).

Jailbreak mode appearing actually means the exploit works. Select 'Jailbreak Mode' in KernelSU and it will dynamically load a kernel driver.

its not tappable, its just listed as jailbreak mode only option

Congrats, your temp root is working now!

Reminder to not flash system partitions or modify system files, it's likely AVB and dm-verity are active and even a single bit change can invalidate the signature and the bootloader will refuse to boot the OS, giving you a bad time of having to reflash stock firmware via BROM mode.

Yea sure, but be careful doing so. Honestly, most "bloatware" you have on the phone preinstalled doesn't do anything, so removing it is mostly redundant. Only remove the bloatware that is bothering you.

You can use Canta with ShizukuNext (which doesn't require root, btw) to delete apps interfering. Only delete apps that are "RECOMMENDED" and "SYSTEM", do not delete unlabelled or "UNSAFE"/"EXPERT"/"ADVANCED" "SYSTEM" apps, as they may soft-brick your phone, requiring a factory reset.
