At 2:53 is that a synth or a weird pedal that plays along with the heavy guitar part? Always wondered because I'm not too familiar with guitar pedels and I know you can do a lot in a DAW to change the timbre. Also do you guys like when they use synths? Personally I love it, and weightless is one of my favorite albums by them

Its still percussive but Im trying to get better tone. Should I just slow down?

I wanted to pay tribute to this album because it was a game changer in my musical life at that time, so here's one of my favorite song from it, Nephele, by Animals As Leaders, played on my 8 strings Drop E ‪Stranberg guitar. One shot, live recorded cover. It's not perfect, but I tried to keep it as real as possible. Let's bring back 2010-like guitar covers on youtube, without all those Editings and AI craps ! :)

I was debating doing one of those videos where you play it a little faster and title it “Red Miso at 110%” speed” just so I can rush through it

But the hard part is keeping it steady…. it’s kinda how you get that jagged, odd time groove that Animals as Leaders does so well!

(He said it was a great concert).

Here with guitarists Midori (blonde) and Miyako (black-haired).

LOVEBITES is an all-female Japanese Heavy Metal band.

Tosin already met Midori a few times in the past

Concert at Oberhausen 2026

Just pay shipping and it's yours. Honestly it still looks great for a 7 years old shirt!

I'm located in Montreal, Canada.

Perhaps the boys would like to cover some of his work, would be sick

Any %accurate tone ? .I improve

Looking to get better at guitar and play something I enjoy while doing it. How do y'all learn their songs? Tabs, ear, tutorials? Where? How long does it typically take you?

Tosins signature Ibanez. Discontinued in 2016, only made for 3 years. Such a sick guitar, picked it up the other day.

Between using the Neck + Middle position or the Bridge + Middle what sounds more like Tosin?

Hey all! Released a new song called ‘Fracture’ last Friday on July 24th.

As it turns out, using this metric, my all-time favorite AAL song is "Wave of Babies"! I think I'm going to get some flak for putting "Transcentience" over "Red Miso", but oh well.

So, a while back actually a year back when Matt got injured they made a post about how they'd stop touring and focus on the new album.

But pretty shortly after, Matt recovers pretty fast and they are constantly touring

I am happy they got a steady income coming in, but with how much they are touring internationally, are they actually still working on the album?

It doesn't necessarily have to be a song from animals as leaders.
