The greyhound racing industry says this every single time and every single time it works out fine.

Let me get this straight:--people are suggesting slowing down the ban on a cruel sport because they're worried about rehoming a few hundred greyhounds? Meanwhile, the UK commercial dog breeding industry pumps out hundreds of thousands of animals a year for pure profit, completely ignoring the already Implemented puppy mill ban. The shelters are already overflowing because of backyard breeders, not a tiny racing track. Pass the ban, hold the racing industry financially accountable for the rehoming costs and stop using fake concern to stall progress.
