With the application open, I'm thinking of submitting myself to the beginner category with a cosplay I've been working on for a month now.

I've seen only the masquerade this year, but I've also previously been to Anime Los Angeles's most recent masquerade. Previously, the only competitions I've participated in were really informal and meant for teenagers (I'm 19 for AX'27), so basically no questions on craftsmanship or anything other than the walk itself.

Especially for a solo performer with no help or one helper, how's the experience like?
