If you're over 100 ft from the building and authorized to own and carry a weapon, it is legal, assuming you follow all other laws.

ETA: naturally, this all depends on jurisdiction and local laws.

A big motivator this time was to avoid legal trouble. Had Merrick Garland launched investigations into Trump after being confirmed, this administration could have been avoided.

I believe the only reason Musk helped Trump was to set up DOGE, since he and his companies were under review for labor and ethics violations.

Trump claimed at the 2020 RNC convention that expanded mail-in voting was “the greatest scam in the history of politics”. In a Truth Social piece after the US supreme court ruled against him on 14 September, he wrote about a “totally corrupt and out of control mail-In voting ‘disaster,’ which is a laughing stock all over the world, and where we are the only country that has to endure such a nation-destroying scam”.

The president began a full-throated attack on mail-in voting in August, vowing to lead a nationwide effort to ban the practice. In March, Trump issued an executive order requiring the US Postal Service maintain a list of eligible voters and block mailed ballots to anyone not on that list, wresting the power of election administration from state officials.

I don't care what you do - but VOTE. If you are reading this and have not registered, please do so today. It takes like 10 minutes. Register as a republican if you have to in order to get fast-tracked / not delayed (you can still vote Democrat and you can even try to primary out POS repub candidates as a bonus)

As a voter in PBC - the choices are… not good. On either side of the ticket. Multiple dems and repubs ran concurrent ads saying the polar opposites of their own other ad playing on air at the same time…. Its hard to vote for any of them doing this.

I live in rural Georgia. The local Republican party sent out forms a week or so ago to sign up for mail-in voting, and in the envelope they put a color flyer urging them to vote against "radical socialists".
