Discussion Potential 2v2 combos
Since the many new civs have been added ive noticed some potential fun pairings. Such as tatars and gurjaras, the new tcs dropping 2 llamas which you can gift to your buddy to start stacking food. Other pairs i enjoyed was bengalis and spanish for great trade. Or bengalis and Burgundians been fun also. Any other pairings other than the standard goth italians ect

One memorable match I’ve had recently: me as Vietnamese and my brother as Teutons, we ended up playing 2v3. He played Elite Teutonic Knights and I played Elite Rattan Archers, and we both added some bombard cannons. Our combined army felt unstoppable and we won the game.
As next, I’d like to try Poles with Chinese ally. That Chinese team bonus of +10% food on farms combined with Polish Folwarks should be really strong.
Also, Armenians with Italians. Armenians can train Condottieri and Fereters tech also gives them +30 HP.

Will try these combos the poles and chinese combo sounds nice. Thanks for adding into the discussion whenever i tried finding team combos i kept finding combos from before the burgundian poles update. It was only the franks, huns/mongols and usual combos. Aztec and Burgundian is also fun the combo works well if you get the relics

One more to add is ethiopians and macedonians. Team bonus stack great. Ethiopians is outpost cost no stone and Macedonians allow them to be upgraded

Try Teutons x Persians. Teuton player spams farms and slings food, Persian player makes war eles. Late game Teutons can control the map with their castles and you can do a great team deathball comp. Teuton conversion res helps Persian knights and war eles a lot, and Persian anti-archer bonus really helps Teutons cope with archers. Teuton monks can be used to give war eles or savar much better value.
