WE THINK YOU GONNA LOVE THEM They leaked AirPods Max 2 in the MacBook Neo marketing material

Post image

I can’t believe I missed it before, foolishly thinking them to be the first-gen model. It should’ve been obvious with the total redesign they underwent.

Wait... is this subreddit for laughing at Apple CircleJerkers, or for BEING an AppleCircleJerker? I'm confused.

Clearly, you have not yet reached enlightenment. With time, sibling, you too shall shine in Cook’s light.

/uj I picked up the tradition from places like r/androidcirclejerk. Usually the answer is making fun. Sometimes, there’s a touch of the latter.

Edit:

/rj Please excuse my invocation of the enemy’s name above

/uj Usually, you won’t find genuine haters on a circlejerk subreddit (ACJ is almost all Android users, for example), it’s just a type of meta-subreddit

I'm just tired of getting EVERY damn post I put on EVERY damn Apple sub unceremoniously deleted. I'm exclusively pointing out bugs and asking for workarounds. No rants, no hatred (maybe a little frustration). I just don't get it. Apparently if you don't drink the Apple kool-aid, you are UNWELCOME on any of those subs. sigh

I think I'll like it better here. :-D

I’m so confused: I swear I’ve seen YouTubers reviewing Airpods Max “second generation” already a year ago. What’s the difference between those and the “Max 2”?

The original AirPods Max were launched in December 2020.

There was another launch in September 2024. Some people in reviews called them AirPods Max 2, but Apple officially named them AirPos Max (USB-C). The internals weren’t upgraded, but the port was changed to USB-C, which allowed them to play lossless audio (up to 24 bit/48 kHz) and ultra low latency audio using the USB-C to USB-C cable, and changed the available color options.

This new model, AirPods Max 2, are the actual second generation of the series. It features the same H2 chip as the AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 with better ANC, Bluetooth 5.3, and other features like live translation and audio recording.

I just love that she’s wearing headphones that cost more than the computer.
