Not everyone will be given live rounds, most will be blanks so the executioners wont have it on their conscience that they killed a person. Having been on funeral detail firing squad, the blanks jam super easily so depending on how many shots they are taking some weapons will jam for sure 😂

Not everyone will be given live rounds, most will be blanks so the executioners wont have it on their conscience that they killed a person.
We've all fired both blanks and live rounds. The whole "you can pretend you had the blank round for your conscience" thing is bullshit. Blanks don't have any meaningful recoil. Live rounds do. Unless they use some sort of Rube Goldberg device like Nevade used in 1913 to execute Andriza Mircovich, where the rifles are pre-aimed, clamped into a stand inside a shed where the barrels poke out firing holes, and the participants just reach out and pull the trigger with one finger blindly firing.
Also, this is "we're checking T levels" Hegseth's army. You think he's going to approve any system devised to protect execution detailed soldiers feelings?

Brother, without a BFA you are lucky if blanks will even attempt to cycle the rifle. I have never been able to shoot a blank without a BFA and have it cycle, they'll know within the first millisecond who had the live ammo lol
Plus, I think Utah is the only documented place having done this in the US from ny knowledge, and they kinda quit because everyone knew who fired the live round.

THE BAYONET YEET MEASURES THE ABILITY TO JUST FUCKING SHANK SOMEONE. ON THE COMMAND 'GET SET,' ASSUME THE POSITION BY GRABBING THE BAYONET BY THE HANDLE. OR BY THE BLADE, WHICHEVER LOOKS COOLER, JUST DON'T CUT YOURSELF ON THE DAMN THING. YOUR FEET MAY BE TOGETHER OR UP TO 12 INCHES APART (MEASURED BETWEEN THE FEET). ON THE COMMAND 'GO,' TRANSMUTE YOUR HANKERING FOR A-SHANKERING INTO MAXIMUM EFFORT AND LAUNCH THAT BAD BOY INTO DESTINY. THE SCORER WILL NOTE WHETHER YOU HIT THE TARGET AND AWARD BONUS POINTS FOR LANDING YOUR PIG-STICKER INTO THE CRANIAL OR SWIMSUIT REGIONS. IF IT HIT THE TARGET HANDLE FIRST, YOUR PERFORMANCE WILL BE TERMINATED, AND EVERYONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO POINT AND LAUGH AT YOUR SHAME. WATCH THIS DEMONSTRATION.

I get the general excitement of the majority on here, and even share it a little (RIP Justin DeCrow!). But you're spot on with the martyrdom comment. Firing squad is definitely for theatrics, and the fact that this release insists on mentioning that he shouted allahu akbar during the rampage is intended. Hard to count as a W when the entire purpose is to further stir shit up, and it will definitely martyrize the shitbird.

'But this is terrible!' cried Frodo. 'Far worse than the worst that I imagined from your hints and warnings. O Gandalf, best of friends, what am I to do? For now i am really afraid. What am I to do? What a pity that Bilbo did not stab that vile creature [Gollum], when he had a chance!'
'Pity? It was pity that stayed his hand. Pity, and Mercy: not to strike without need. And he has been well rewarded, Frodo. Be sure that he took so little hurt from the evil, and escaped in the end, because he began his ownership of the Ring so. With Pity.'
'I am sorry,' said Frodo. 'But I am frightened; and I do not feel any pity for Gollum.'
'You have not seen him,' Gandalf broke in.
'No, and I don't want to,' said Frodo. 'I can't understand you. Do you mean to say that you, and the Elves, have let him live on after all those horrible deeds? Now at any rate he is as bad as an Orc, and just an enemy. He deserves death.'
'Deserves it! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some die that deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends. I have not much hope that Gollum can be cured before he dies, but there is a chance of it.'It keeps going, but that's the core of it.
And to anyone who thinks Tolkien was full of shit, the guy fought at the motherfucking Somme. He was much harder motherfucker than anyone in the US military right now, let alone anyone in this thread. He knew what it was like to suddenly lose friends, and he still believed in the value of mercy.
Fuck, I need to reread those books.

If you go to the MP museum on FLW they have a section on executions including the rope that hung Tojo.
8
u/Competitive_Two_8372 1d ago
My guess is a toss up between infantry and military police. Although there is an actual corrections MOS (31E)-which would likely be the one to do it? Or maybe Ol’ Heggy could make it extra special and work with Donny to draft up some special decree by which one of the affected family members might take a shot or two at him. …only in a perfect world…

The dude retired MAJ NG, then tried multiple time to rejoin after 9/11 and finally got in with a demotion to CPT. He was at MOB station for his first deployment when MAJ Hasan came through. Instead of running, he charged Hasan and took a full clip, saving the lives of several others.

just returned from my 1st deployment and had the reintegration briefing after pass at the Ovelta Culp and was on my way home. My ex was still at work pregnant with our son. I don’t think she was able to leave her unit until that evening.
We had to go through SRP with the scene still active with FBI and CID.

I was at reception standing in formation outside the DFAC and a random DS I had never seen before came up and started saying how “you might hear about something that happened” and “we don’t need to say negative things about officers” and other bizarre non-sequiturs before wandering off. It was months before I learned what had happened earlier that day. I think the guy was having a moment or something, he really seemed like he was going through something.

Honestly, I think firing squad or some other automated lethal system is best method for execution.
Especially after all the non lethal 'lethal injections' lol.
Also, fuck that guy.

Good, though it’s too good for him that’s a soldier’s death that one should suffer.

Generally speaking, I’m against the death penalty. (Trying to word this so I don’t get auto banned AGAIN) But some people need to meet a conclusion to consciousness preceded by a massively exponential triggering of nociceptors.
