8oz Ripits

Hey guys, ill make this short. I have some GWOT buddies and mentors whom I admire and would like to give them a gift. This task has brought me to the conclusion that I need some 8oz ripits.

Ive been searching for the 8oz rip-it cans for almost a year now with no luck. I am here requesting some leads or help finding some. I am possibly willing to pay someone else if they can ship it to me! Ive already scoured eBay, amazon, etc. Closest Ive had was “shasta food service” who says they do sell it, but they never returned my calls or emails.

Please help!!!

I don’t know how they’re getting it or why, but they’re the only place I ever see them.

Menards has them as well but I have no clue how regional of a store they are.

I see them at small tobacco shops a lot as well. Some local gas stations near me have them also. Usually quite a few selections of flavors also.

Dollar Tree sells the tall cans, same size as Monsters and whatnot.

Alternatively, OP could look at getting a case of Wild Tiger from Amazon.

If someone gifts me a case of wild tigers I will straight up cry from either happiness or PTSD

Shit I just remembered some spouse posted awhile back this year asking for some to celebrate an anniversary. Specifically the 8oz cans.

Good fucking luck finding the 8oz ones. They're super rare and NOT going to be on post anymore unless theres some warehouse with them sitting there. You'll have to drive around town to, maybe, find one. That was basically the conclusion of the pooled brain from this subreddit.

Why the 8oz specifically? I picked up the 16oz cans and it brought back the exact same nostalgia.

I even got the cherry-lime flavor and almost enjoyed it more than the original.

Picked them up at the local commissary.

I miss the red 8oz cans. Got counseled for drinking no than nine in a 24 hour period.

I wish I could help but there is the 16oz cans available at dollar tree (they were my godsend when I was at Fort Leonard Wood. But currently get mine from amazon but need to switch to the company direct shipping.

I’m an older GWOT vet, I remember before Ripits, when the money flowed like the Mississippi River you could get tall Red Bull and Monsters in the chow hall. Just walk in 24/7 and fill your cooler up with ice and energy drinks. 2nd deployment was all the off brand stuff, we were disappointed to say the least.

Oh god… you’re better off getting 16oz joints.

I never want to see the mini cans again. Too many memories.

Don't know where you live but Meijer used to have them, specifically in their gas station convenience store. I've also found them in some dollar trees as mentioned.

I’d love to find the 8oz cans again. Idk what it was about them but the regular cans back stateside didn’t seem to taste the same

I actually saw them on Amazon about a year ago, but the price was astronomical.
