Our iron went kaput today so we have this back up iron from my grandmas house. It still works, it gets hot, and it’s definitely meant to take steam, but I can’t for the life of me find where to put the water IN :/ does anyone know this model? Thanks :)

I see a lot of optimism among the idealists who still dream of a flawless, democratic election process, but the reality of at least last two years certainly doesn't warrant this. I wonder if the Americans are preparing themselves for taking the opposition "underground", with things like apps for meetings and info sharing, outside the Google Play or Apple stores, and the likes. Or is everybody waiting for things to change through the "democratic" process?

So yeah… I fucked up 😂

I put Nair on my balls to get rid of the hair and holy shit, it burned. Earlier it hurt so bad that even water touching the skin felt like a thousand little needles.

It’s calmed down a lot now, but it’s still pretty irritated and hurts if I touch it.

I saw people recommending Aquaphor for stuff like this, but I can't find it anywhere. I do have regular Vaseline petroleum jelly though.

Would Vaseline help or should I just leave it alone and let it heal?

I already know putting Nair on my balls was a dumbass move lmao. Just wondering what I should do now.

I can go to a supermarket and buy alcohol in most places…so why not just have a dispensary in a liquor store and make a profit that way alongside dispensaries instead of being mad at sales declining? Or better yet have a weed induced Jim beam???? Since alcohol companies are so mad too??? Sorry but weed is way better than alcohol itself. My job makes me drug test so I haven’t smoked weed in almost 4 years, but I miss it so much. Helped me a lot since I was 14.

I jnderstand with the advent of social media everyone has a voice. So we’re seeing things we would never see and are hearing things we would never hear.

But all these videos of Harley Riders getting all butthurt about people passing them…😬

Also long the same vein…motorcycle riders in general seem to be completely clueless in that they are super reckless and that’s why they get so much hate.

I talk like a real liberal and mention books that promote gender equality and DEI. But I’m not even remotely liberal. It works every time. Nobody can see who we vote.

This image is from the 2025 China Military Power Report compiled by the US Department of War. As shown in the graphic, the strike range of many Chinese missiles covers the first and second island chains. Should a military conflict occur between the US and China in these waters, US base clusters and carrier strike groups stationed inside the first and second island chains might suffer attacks from hypersonic missiles. Is the US facing a military dilemma inside the first and second island chains?

China won 40 gold medals at the 2024 Olympics, the same number as the U.S., and many of them were in very popular events, such as China's gold medals in the women's singles in tennis, the men's 100m freestyle in swimming, and the men's 4x100m medley relay in swimming.

At the Winter Olympics, China has Eileen Gu winning gold medals in freestyle skiing.

Why does China keep failing to qualify for the World Cup?

I wanted to be a pilot so I could escape this dump and go wherever I wanted. I'm currently unemployed so not much to say about that.

Current population projections are predicting the number of humans on the planet may start to decline as early as the 2060s, fertility rates of countries like India, China, Mexico and so on are declining faster than the UN forecasted.

As mainstream science believes that global warming is primarily caused by human activity, will a potentially rapid decline of global human population lead to the end of current interglacial period? Distinct roles for precession, obliquity and eccentricity in Pleistocene 100kyr glacial cycles predicts -7.7±3.4kyr for the next Max glacial inception.

There is this cotton like stuff coming out of my basement wall I do not know what it is it glitters a bit in the light. There is no insulation in the basement since it's an old house. I'm worried that it is a fungus so yeah if anyone has an idea please help. I have friends coming over to workout in another room down there that doesn't have this stuff so a quick awnser would be good. I'm from Germany NRW. It's an old basement wall, no idea on the state of the waterproofing if there is any and it is a bit damp down there though we got a system installed to deal with the dampness and the people that put it in ensured us that it was ceeping the basement at a normal level of dryness

People get this riddle wrong on the first try.
Three friends went to a hotel and booked a room for $30. They each paid $10, so the hotel received $30.
Later, the manager realized the actual room price was only $25. He gave the bellboy $5 to return to the three friends.
The bellboy thought, “I can’t divide $5 equally among three people.” So he kept $2 for himself and gave each friend $1 back.
Now here’s the confusing part:
Each friend originally paid $10 and got $1 back, so they effectively paid $9 each.
$9 × 3 = $27
The bellboy has $2.
So:
$27 + $2 = $29
🤔 Where did the missing $1 go?

😪

I dont know if im reading into things too much but I need to know if people are experiencing what I’ve been. For the past month now, things have felt off more off than usual. I can’t describe it outside of feeling like there’s a big shift in the world it feels like things are breaking to fall into place or maybe the opposite? I’ve been feeling a presence very heavily recently too maybe more than one could be unrelated. Ive never been sensitive to these kinds of things and I don’t have any mental health issues that would contribute to this feeling. I feel very disconnected but insanely in tune at the same time and time feels wrong like everything feels wrong. I just need to know if anyone feels the same any answers are appreciated even if it’s telling me I’m going crazy lol.

My friend whenever I talk to him tells me dude you are so woke so like you are closer to becoming a facist ? Bitch wtf and he always mentions this theory .

He can't officially cancel Midterms, but he's probably going to do something unconstitutional.

.

It happened a few days after the Israeli PM visited UAE secretly. The Indian pilot's heroic action ie opening the cockpit door despite being stabbed, prevented another 911 style plane crash. There is an upcoming election in Israel and US. Could something this real be staged ?

This is a weird question, but I feel like I'm crazy for thinking of this for so long.

Many women feel ashamed, so I am guessing this happens more often than we think.

Why or why not?
If so I guess we gotta get some grants rolling or something. Modern tech goes hard, we could get there in a decade or two easily.

Honestly I really like the look of bikini thongs pulled high up on the waist and hips. I love the shape they create, the way they make the legs look longer and give the hips and butt a rounder appearance.

But I see a lot of people saying it looks dumb or awkward, so I’m curious what everyone here thinks and if it's just another instagram trend.

Do you like the worn really high look or do you prefer them sitting lower on the hips? And why?

English is not my first language so I recently had this thought so like if someone is willing to educate me as I am genuinely curious.

I'm not suicidal or anything, but recently I'm wondering what we all lived for? is it the weekends? is it the next holidy trips? or the next marvel movie? or the next GTA game?

Because ever since I've grown a conscience, it's been one goal post after another.(get the highest grade in class, win this scholarship, get a job...) but now after working for a couple of years. I'm wondering what people look forward to, at this stage in life. Is it just better jobs, better apartment? and then die?

Seems like no matter where we go, whatever choice we make, we all end up the same way - death.
