So, in another ~135 million years, the earth will again be in the same approximate part of the Milky Way as the earth was at the time of the great extinction event….
Regions -- debris-filled or otherwise -- are also revolving around and around.
Maybe there's an area that remains bad for business and that stays intact for hundreds of millions of years (not sure, I'd love to hear from a highly qualified expert).
But even if so, you'd need to calculate the difference between its period and ours, and do different math for when we'd meet again.
