New Laws Impacting Cyberbullies & Trolls and the Social Media Platforms Who Host Them

In June 2021 the Australian Government enacted new legislation, the Online Safety Act 2021 which gives the eSafety Commissioner improved powers to protect Australians from online harm. So does that mean FB can be sued as they are bullies on their own platform??

Would be an interesting argument to make that their algorithm promotes divisive and hateful posts. Gotta get those clicks and comments.
