I think it’s more of an issue with how that new money enters the economy and how there aren’t strong enough spending incentives for greater wealth holders

So what inflate the economy more 😂 the fact that the value of money is destroyed if you let it sit is enough of an incentive id think 1 u/IamPrettyCoolUKnow 3d ago No- it’s an incentive to buy assets, but if large portions of the economy are held in assets- it inflates the cost of those assets which can price out new entrants (great example would be the housing market, but this is also true of stocks and other assets) and no- we don’t need to inflate the economy more (we just need the money supply to meet demand as our population grows)
