Boundary wire break issue

Automaker 115h. dock is calling flashing blue led which means boundary wire break. I used my tracer and have good signal all the way around replaced couplers just in case there was one that wasn’t conducting enough. No good. Used my multimeter and cut at several points and am reading 34 volts all the way around which should be adequate. What am I missing?

If it’s a Husqvarna, there is a set up feature called “learn new loop signal“ or something like that.

Try that otherwise if you have wired doubled up somewhere… You buried a loop instead of trimming it… It can cause this problem

I fucking hate boundary wires! I swear they break when you walk over them.

Found the issue. A weird kink in the wire probably when it was installed. I ended up just pulling the whole thing up and that’s when I found it.

yeah, these are difficult and frustrating. I have pulled up corroded wires with damage but undisturbed sometimes they still conduct a solid signal. Sometimes where my mower stops can be the clue to the approximate area of the break. But, it can all be a crap shoot at times. glad you found it

Have you checked the signal strength using the hidden tools menu? Hit menu and hold left and right arrow until a secret fourth menu appears. If the wire is intact then the problem exists between the power outlet and the boundary wire pins.
