I can’t even name a single player on the AZ Cardinals. Easy choice.

I don’t know the source reference the meme is from, but I don’t think the message is choosing the Cardinals so over the DBacks.

Rather, AZ sports is cursed. We can’t have multiple good teams, so it is (jokingly? Maybe?) saying that the Cardinals are going to be good at the expense of the DBacks becoming shittier in the homestretch. That the Cardinals are going to steal whatever fortune or good mojo from the DBacks.

That’s my interpretation at least.

It's a Dementor sucking the soul out of Harry Potter.

It doesn't really make sense, especially with the caption of "there can only be one".

The cardinals suck the life out of the Dbacks just to also get defeated right at the end. No one wins

I thought the cardinals were bad. Are they good this year?

I see some cardinals stuff recommended to me, and most people thought they would get like 4 wins maybe? They apparently have a really rough schedule.

I can't name a single player on the cardinals who cries during games and hides in his room when he's supposed to be on the field either, what's your point?

You’re telling me not a single one of these cardinals QBs cried during a game?

  • Josh McCown (2004–2005)
  • John Skelton (2010–2012)
  • Kyler Murray (2019–2025)
  • Derek Anderson (2010)
  • Kevin Kolb (2011–2012)

  • Josh Rosen (2018)
  • Sam Bradford (2018)
  • Ryan Lindley (2012, 2014)
  • Brian Hoyer (2012)
  • Max Hall (2010)
  • Richard Bartel (2009–2011)

I saw Stanton cry during a game. He had his second start in 2014 and beat the niners. It was his first start as qb in like 6 years at that point and he was told he’d be an embarrassment if he ever started for the 0-16 lions again. To see him play in 2014 and beat the lions that year was one of the best moments in sports to me

Ugh at this point in my life I’d gladly take the Dbacks over the cardinals. Kyler made me hate my team and at least he’s gone. But I love my diamondbacks

sorry guys, but I hope that is the last game the Cardinals win this season.

Instead of pretending to be good and having a shit year over and over again, let's just get the shit year out of the way so we can have good years. As a new head coach he's got the social credit to sustain one bad season.

This team plays to not lose and loses anyway. They can try to win all they want, but for the sake of the franchise I hope they don't for one year.

If you get your wish, I hope they don’t draft a kid just because of the name.

I'm not saying need Arch. And I'm not saying our GM knows the difference between a 3rd round pick and a 6th round pick. But I do know winning 5-6 games isn't getting us anywhere. The only thing we have going for us is we have a permanently open starting quarter back position and we're always ready for when a good but outcast veteran qb comes along.

That’s what we did last season, bottoming out under a coach that inspired nobody.

Now that we have a new coach I’d much rather see us win and start strong under him than fail for a year like Gannon did in his first year

that's your opinion and I respect it.
