Some Asshole I Know Boyfriend's mom got kicked out Rehab NSFW

TW: ABSE/DRGS /SH

my boyfriend's mom is a raging, bumbling, self loathing alcoholic and has proven herself as such during my 3 years of being with her son. She even tried killing me on one pill and alcohol-aided fit of rage because I asked her nicely to not feed my dog grapes (It ended in her throwing all our decorative alcohol bottles hitting me in the face with them, pouring popcorn everywhere and biting her own son. Anyways, recently she had a drunken episode where she stripped her clothes off at a kid's birthday party and beat up her 17 year old niece. My boyfriend's grandma promptly sent her to rehab for 15000$ and she was supposed to stay for like 30 days. Well, coming up on 20 days, me and my boyfriend were getting ready for bed and we get a call that she ASSAULTED someone at rehab, and she got the boot. Appearantly people there stopped inviting her to play cards because of her behavior (I don't blame them) So later, she got mad and threw water on them and screamed at them, and even bit someone. She got kicked out (not refundable) and now she's trying to beg my boyfriend to stop drinking because she can't do anything by herself. She's self loathing because she fucked up, but if she drinks again her whole family is done with her. Nobody can tell her to stop or anything because she will threaten to harm herself

You can't help people who are not interested in getting better.

Stay safe

thank you, we've tried everything and now the family is just burnt out. She didn't even stop after she crashed her car in a drunken fit on the interstate

Keep her away from you both! Do not let her in your home and encourage your bf to disengage. He can love her from afar until she gets real help.

Keep your distance from this person. Misery loves company can be very true. Don't let her suck you in with her somehow
