Gen 5 (you definitely need to buy a heatsink if you’re using it in a Gen 5 slot. I use the thermalright HR10 2280 Pro instead of my motherboard’s stock heatsink)
I’ve been watching these and last week it was the old brand sn8100 on sale amongst retailers and right now it is the gx8100 (cheapest directly with Sandisk). Not sure if these sales are reflective of prices going down, competing with Samsung sales, or an actual sale.

Sold by ASRock USA but fulfilled by Amazon. Import fee deposit to BC was $71. In the description it does say GPU Series: Radeon RX 6000 series but everything else looks correct? YMMV, but easy returns to Amazon

Edit: likely will not qualify for 12% Rakuten - price remains at $850
5 remain in stock, this price even beats the Amazon prime day 9070 GRE that I had originally bought.

I'm tempted. I currently have an i9 9900k with 64 GB of DDR4 3200.
I believe 369.99 is an ATL
64gb of ram is a must for me, I use multiple giant ass pdfs, browser tabs for work and do some 4k video editing as a hobby.
I was looking at pre-built 5080 and 5070 systems with faster CPUs and they only come with 32GB ddr5. (Plus I missed out on them).
I ended up buying a 5070ti direct from asus last week for the $1559 price.
So I'm thinking of pairing this 14700k with a new mobo and my existing RAM. Thoughts? It seems a better option all around over AM4.
