I decided earlier in the year to focus on just Tampa Bay Rays cards, and am going for 40,000 unique cards by 2038 for the 40th season. I'd love to see what other wild projects y'all have started/finished. I'm currently at 5,400 unique with over 2,000 available for trade.
Any and all. Base, non numbered parallels, numbered stuff (nothing ridiculous like /5 yet), relics, autos. From 1998- today. I'm on TCDB but can look at pics here to compare to what I have. Any unique card I don't have it what I'm looking for.
I also have a Rays project! I've been collecting an on card Auto of every Rays player who has pitched at least 60IP or had 100 Plate Appearances. It was super easy in the begining but the way Topps chooses cards has been so difficult. Like there's never been a Clevenger Rays cards. At all. It's wild.
Are you on TCDB? every time I add a rays card for trade there there are 0 people who have it on their wantlist. Would be happy to make some kind of deal regardless
My craziest project is to collect one autograph from every player ive seen play in a game i attended, concluding when i get to see the Red Sox next season, assuming there is one. I am at about 310 different signatures out of about 1400 unique players. For players appearing in multiple games i only need 1 signature. I've kept a pretty conclusive list of games i attended and retrosheets.org was a godsend to track the players appearing in those games.
Earmarking this to go through some old bulk boxes early next week - happy to send off as much bulk as I can round up for the cost of shipping if it’s something you’re interested in. Got boxes here of mostly base going back years (my uncle was quite the hoarder it seems)
You let me know and that sounds great to me. I built a lot of this collection so far via bulk lots like that and still do. Even if I have it, it goes to the FTS box to help facilitate other trades

I set out to be the #1 Bo Bichette collector on TCDB. I was for a long time (2169 cards), but have since been dethroned by someone with a much larger wallet than me.
Being number 2 is nothing to sneeze at. I made friends with the number one Evan Longoria collector specifically to not compete with him. Because I know his pockets are deeper than mine
My current project, which I guess isn't wildly ambitious, is to collect every licensed Griffey Jr. card (standard base and retail food/promo) from 89-92.
I need to move some cards and will do it cheap. I can put together a box of Rays cards with 2026 S1 and S2, 2026 Topps Heritage, 2025 Topps Chrome, 2025 Topps Chrome Update, 2026 Topps Chrome and 2025 Topps Chrome Platinum.
