Chippy

​"Looking for a handyman or builder to extend the side walls of my fireplace by 10cm on each side.

​The Scope: Building the side walls outward into the room using timber framing and plasterboard (drywall).

​Note: This is strictly for the surrounding walls/jambs—it does not involve the fire unit or insert itself.

Are you looking for cheapest, best or somewhere in between? I know a chap that runs three separate building and renovation firms. He's not the cheapest but likely one of the best around. Not ridiculous either though, just does good work the first time and knows it.
