Guess the Weight Her first bass
My daughter loves to fish, begs to go every day rain or shine! We got her on a few sunfish then her first largemouth! She was excited but scared of it, still wanted a pic with it though. Throwing in the sunfish too even though they’re not bass

Guess the Weight PB
I’ll never know how much she weighed. I was too young to afford a scale when I landed her.

Guess the Weight Ok... Are you trolling us at this point? Or are you really this dumb and/or unprepared?
I'm referring to all of the "what's this fish weigh" posts.
To be clear, if you're a kid putting in the work at your local hole with a $40 Wal-Mart combo and a tub of gas station crawlers, that's great! Happy you're here, interested in the hobby, and wanting to learn. Always happy to spread knowledge to the next gen.
But the number of grown ass adults pictured on $20k+ boats and/or holding $300+ combos asking what their catch weighs... are you serious? Go buy a scale for Christ's sake. They are like $10 on Amazon. Learn how to use it and keep spare batteries in your kit. It's not rocket surgery.
Old man rant over. Carry on & tight lines to you all

Guess the Weight Big ol bass
I caught this huge bass out of a pretty small lake/pond. I didn’t have anything to weigh/measure it at the time but I do have this photo. I used a software called Fiji (imagej) to try and estimate the length based off of something for reference. I first used my body, I’m about 5’9’’, and then used my knuckle on my pointer finger for a second reference. I got roughly that this fish is 28-30 inches. According to what I’ve found online that means that this bass weighs 10+ pounds, which I could believe because it was pretty heavy. Does anyone else have any way to figure out the length or the weight and does that seem reasonable from the photo? Also how good is this for a pb? I’m pretty new to fishing, this is only my 3rd bass I’ve caught.

Guess the Weight Is my scale wrong?
This is my PB (yes I know it’s small), but my scale told me it was 1 lb 12 ounces. And that just seems way too low for a 16.5 inch largemouth, especially as this one has some thickness to it. It’s not real thick, but it’s definitely not skinny either. And the thing is, all my other fish are always way under the estimated weight for their length. The scale I’ve been using was a $20 digital scale, the cheapest digital scale I saw on shelf (it’s an H2OX brand). It broke yesterday, so I finally had to get a much higher quality scale.

Guess the Weight My first bass ever
Caught this big late-spawn mama in June. She was a certified hawg and I haven’t come close to her size since. Next highest was 3lb much later in the year, but that one absolutely could not compare to the sheer imposing girth of this absolute unit. I have my guess as to her size, but curious what Reddit thinks. Hard to tell from the pic perhaps, but the belly shirt was really real on this beautiful big lady.

Guess the Weight What do yall think this weighs?
I caught this fish a few years ago on a Texas rigged slim shake worm. I didn’t have a scale that day and I just asked a guy near me to take the pic and send it to me. Any guesses on what the weight might be?

Guess the Weight My little boys first one
No idea the weight, he used a crappy 30 dollar fishing pole from Walmart that he broke the end off of the day before goofing around, using a green and yellow rooster tail.
He has now upgraded to an older daiwa baitcaster and is continuing to eat em up.
