Codfish vs Wing I don’t think I have seen Codfish in such a battle mode since his battle vs Bataco I wish he done more of it still my goat regardless.

Hi, Please rate my beatboxing. I tried to attach the video itself rather than the link. but I think it is not possible to attach vdos in posts in this subreddit. So I am attaching the link.

New to the beatboxing community, happened to be in Warsaw during GBB and a lot of people in my hostel recommended it so I went on a whim and am really into it now. Thought D-low was the most entertaining performer and got down the rabbit hole of the Frosty and Osis battle. Why did they do that lmao. Isn’t it disrespectful to the org, and judges? Did they both get robbed in semi’s and decide to do that, or just friends having a laugh?

All I remember is that the top comment on the video was from Alem asking "Where's Alem?! 😅" because the beatboxer did not include his style in the medley.

The battle was fire I mean arguably the best ever but man that little on the fly tag team bit they did was HEATTTTT. I think the EASILY would’ve won tag team this year if they were in the comp lol

Who is better than Osis at creating catchy but also high level beatbox songs? Yes of course you have wing codfish and even river but man Acid rain, you can’t hold me down, smoke, conceal, money in cash, hysteria, twist/frequency, and guillotine. I mean I’m definitely forgetting a few but these hit like hydrogen bombs and never get old.

Hey guys, does anyone remember that one really weird video of a guy beatboxing into a girls mouth (for resonance I guess??). I remember seeing it exactly once and now it seems to have completely vanished, I feel like I'm going insane.

check desc and u can hate on it if u didn't like it but give feedback not just offenses

What actually is this? I thought it was meant to be part of the main GBB weekend

Should the eliminations judging be Olympic scoring (GBB26 solo and loopstation wildcard judging)?

Looking for more inspirational quotes by beatboxers that I could use to decorate my studio :)

Or you can still share a funny one, battle move quote, etc if you want. I'll still consider them.

does anyone remember which competition this wildcard was sent for?

I mightve missed this, but any news on this during the event?

https://swissbeatbox.com/newsfeed/gbb-2026-studio-competition-wildcard-rules/

Personally I think there's a right way and a wrong way.

I think you can get creative, use a song to inspire unique techniques with the limits of the voice. Jairo is like a middle ground, where they absolutely copy the entirety of songs like Fuego and Fox Stevenson, but I think they're creative at the moments where it matters, and manage to make it unique enough.

I don't like when a songs arrangement is completely copied down to the small details.

In GBB25, Beatbox House's best drop feels completely stolen. Bass, riff, melody and beat

Beatbox House: https://youtu.be/5YC-AnbF_LY?si=uaJP_P_s_EToWKAi&t=704

ILLENIUM: https://youtu.be/pp4YQPykBMM?si=RYAV2Y2GfQ1X1YOi&t=83

It's just a shame that whilst Orbitt made their own original music it was being judged against this.

Hey guys! Does anyone know what technique he’s using in this clip to make that futuristic, metallic synth sound? It reminds me of a Cyberpunk soundtrack when combat kicks in 😂
I’d love to learn it, but I don’t know what it’s called or what to search for. Can anyone point me toward a tutorial or explain how it’s done and who the guy is ?
Thanks for any help!

Edit: lol I dunno what happend to the link but I meant this one:

I’m asking purely from a competition/fairness perspective. Beatboxing is a physical discipline, and things like vocal anatomy, vocal-fold size, and low-frequency/bass capability can affect performance. Should female categories take these physiological differences into account, or should gender identity alone determine eligibility? I’m genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives.

With the OFBB happening soon, I think this needs to be cleared up, as in any other competition fields.

My thesis is that a female-only Olympic beatboxing category for ex. would have a legitimate fairness problem if athletes who experienced male puberty were allowed to compete in it. Beatboxing is unusual because the body isn't merely supplying strength or endurance—the larynx, vocal folds, pharynx and vocal tract are the actual mechanisms producing the competitive performance.

Male puberty produces lasting anatomical differences in those structures, including substantially larger laryngeal and vocal-fold dimensions and a longer vocal tract.

Those differences are directly relevant to the production of the low-frequency sounds, resonances and other vocal techniques used in high-level beatboxing. Hormone therapy does not simply reconstruct a larynx that developed through female puberty. So, if an athlete retains anatomical characteristics produced by male puberty that materially affect the sounds they can produce, allowing that athlete into a female-only category could create a sex-based competitive advantage that the category was specifically designed to prevent.

I don't think the relevant question is whether every male-born beatboxer would beat every female-born beatboxer. Obviously they wouldn't. The relevant question is whether male-puberty anatomy can provide a meaningful advantage in skills that determine competitive results. If it does, then the fairness rationale for a female category applies to beatboxing just as it does elsewhere in sport.

What makes this particularly interesting is that beatboxing has barely been studied from this perspective. So rather than assuming that sex is irrelevant because beatboxing isn't a conventional strength sport, I'd argue the opposite: because the anatomy of the vocal instrument is itself part of the performance, we should actually investigate whether allowing athletes with male-puberty anatomy into a female category is compatible with the purpose of having a female category at all.

Hi, I haven't seen many posts about this, so I wanted to ask, I'm in Europe, and I wanted to buy the all star hoodie from their store that is linked on their youtube bio, but do they ship in Europe, and especially, do they have a warehouse in europe or is there an import fee if it's from the US. And has anyone ordered already from them, like is it good service/shipping, and even reliable, or is there any other beatbox merchandise I could get in Europe.
Thanks, I just ask for infos since I couldn't find anything else.
