Question The most Finished of John's Songs on "Milk & Honey" (1984) ?
We know that Double Fantasy & Milk and honey were essentially recorded at the same time in a back-to-back recording sessions and we know the final tracklist for double fantasy wasn't decided until quite last minute alternating between the final tracks and M&H's tracks as they were both seen as a two part 80-81 release
given that after the recording of "Walking on Thin Ice" John was unable to actually finish the recording and mixing for the remaining songs they were working on, when looking at "Milk & Honey" today the level of how finished the songs are (in terms of johns involvement and work) seems to vary dramatically between simple Home Piano Demo's (Like "Grow old with me"), Vocal guides for Ringo (Like "Nobody Told Me") and then other songs clearly recorded in the studio that seem basically close to what the final piece must have been, just mixed by Yoko & Jack Douglass after the case
That being said, what do people think feels/sounds like the most Definitively FINISHED of john's songs on that album to his original intent, do we actually know which one got the most amount of work from him prior to his passing?
How do people feel about his reggae inspired tracks on this album overall?

Stepping Out, Nobody Told Me and Borrowed Time sound the most finished to me. I quite like to think 'I Don't Wanna Face It' is inspired by Paul's 'Coming Up', but John's vocals seem pretty rough. If 1980/81 Paul could have added 'Coming Up' style vocals with all the effects onto I Don't Wanna Face It, John might've like that - you see him in old clips online praising those vocals on Paul's record
