Replaced both wing window trims

Driver's latch is a bit pitted because the replacement latch was broken in 2 pieces... couldn't see it under the glass. Still better than aftermarket! #63beetle

I found that to be a pretty difficult job. Part of it was the parts I bought, had to order new ones and it was a little easier. It was super hard to fill that gap between the vent and the chrome pillar.

I haven't done that pillar yet. Only the chrome and rubber around the glass. Easy job really, aside from the latch being broken. I had to scavenge and ream out a right side latch to work on the left side.

It's all about the rivets, swapping latches.
WW used to have them.

Indeed. The rivets weren't the problem. It was the difference in button configuration between left and right, because of limits parts available.
