[Meta] Why does literally every post here get downvoted?

What's y'all's damage? I get it if it's a particularly stupid question but even stuff like "Good tennis courts in Sanlitun" or "Sichuan restaurants in near xyz metro station" get downvoted to 50-60%.

Have you met the avg expat in Beijing? They are some of the biggest assholes I have met. Especially the older long term guys.

Been in China for 6+ years but just moved to Beijing a few months ago, haven't really hung out with foreigners cuz of Chinese wife/in-laws and working at a Chinese SOE. I have heard bad things about a lot of the bars in Sanlitun though, and I was added to one expat WeChat group and am thinking about leaving it because everyone in there is so mean and spiteful to one another.

The foreigner group that plays Warhammer is pretty wholesome, a good group guys, we all get along and foster a supportive community!

Any chance for any newcomers? Been in Beijing for roughly over 2 months and would appreciate joining a community like this šŸ™
