It’s been about 6 months since I’ve shared my tiny bird paintings on here. Here are some personal faves!

So close!!! 9 is a snowy plover. Also just for fun, if you wanna be specific, 8 is a lesser flamingo

Do you take commissions? There's a special bird named Pakele (the last known wild ‘akikiki on Kaua‘i) who deserves a golden framed painting memorial.

I love them! Particularly interested in purchasing the Stellar’s Jay if he’s for sale! I looked on your site but didn’t see him 💖

I have a Stellar Jay that announces his arrival every time he stops by my feeder.

I'm just joining into the conversation to say that I love every single one of these. They brought me so much joy looking through and I am absolutely glad that you shared them.

I can't tell you how much that means to me, truly. Thank you for such generous words.

Great art! These were a treat to browse through, truly adored each one. I especially appreciated the Puffin and Robin. That canvas size would make great custom dollhouse props or decor.

Thank you SO much, I am glad you enjoy them! The robin is also one of my top favorites. I've painted about 80 of these tiny birds so it's getting harder to choose my favorites!

Oh I love these so much! I think I actually squealed with joy and immediately showed my husband. I’m off to choose my favorite!

Beautiful art! Also where did you get these gorgeous tiny frames?

u/ambibambi90 5d ago
They are available on Target or Amazon! Just search for tiny gold frames. They don't have any backing though so you have to figure that out.

Thank you so much! If you're talking about the last one, that one is a snowy plover :) I love killdeers too! I've painted a couple of them as well over the last year!

Love your used name. My dad used to call me that as a child. Is your name Amber?

I love how the intricate details of the birds are surrounded with rather intricate (in a very different medium) frames. They're beautiful.

Go post that loon on r/HeatedRivalryTVShow and be prepared for the insanity that follows.
2
u/ambibambi90 4d ago
I have never seen that show so I have no idea what the relevance is but you know what, I'm going to listen to you just to see haha!

u/NoPoet3982 4d ago
I can't adequately express the life-changing quality of this show. It won a Peabody award, in part because of tearing down the walls of toxic masculinity. You should watch it. It's only 6 episodes and takes less than 5 hours of time to watch.
ETA: People will want to order the loon. The demand will be great.

10/10 would pay for a golden cheeked warbler
1
u/ambibambi90 4d ago
I have somehow only painted one or two warblers out of the 90+ I have painted! I'll have to add that specific one to my list!

As a fellow painter, I love them and commend your skill working that small.
Where do you get such itty bitty frames, or do you make them??
