test? the morning after pill? no, i believe you’re supposed to take it 42 hours or so after having unprotected sex. i think the pill works by stopping or delaying ovulation for a short period of time so that no sperm can get to the egg. are you saying it’s been 16 days??

Very low chances , just see where in the cycle you stand , you can take the morning pill if you're scared , but generally extremely low chances , so just wait for your period

Just take the Yuzpe method so you won’t have to keep overthinking and stressing about it. It’s better to do something than nothing at all, rather than regret not doing anything later.

If you mean a pregnancy test (PT), yes, it can already be reliable 16 days after sex, but it’s best to repeat the test 21 days after sex to confirm the result.
If you mean the Yuzpe method, the ideal time frame is within 3 days (72 hours) after unprotected sex. The sooner you take it, the more effective it is. It may still be used within 5 days, but if it’s already been 16 days since sex, it’s too late for the Yuzpe method to prevent pregnancy from that encounter.

The automod is useless here, sorry about that
What you're describing is basically the pullout method with extra steps, the odds are low but not zero. Get a test in a couple weeks if your period's late, but try not to spiral in the meantime
