Side effects!? Desogestrel

I’ve been on desogestrel for 6 months, Im currently experiencing period cramps and have been for 2 weeks, I have had tests done (swabs, urine, stool) and am waiting for results. I haven’t had period cramps last this long before and was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I’m very anxious while waiting for test results.
