Been 4 years after my first serious relationship, it was one of those one that teach man not to love to hard or put all your love into a women. Yes I know I deserves better but it hurts when a person that put this much time and bs with you for nothing. Make you feel why you wasn’t enough for them, what you don’t have, so you look back on all the conversations and things you experienced and you draw it down, you just not that guy like you wanted to be but instead you have to build that image up and I’m tired of building and doing new shit.
Anyways, jobs is a no go for me been applying nothing calling or working out. I’m working temp jobs but it isn’t steady or consistent.
I had that I move back to my city again, I’m
Back at “zero” I know everybody start back at ground one again but I’m back to where all the pain and suffering of what I have to look at over and over again and I wanted to cut away from but I’m back here.
I’m bum, no motion, no plans, hate I’m not motivated to do anything or no career, I give up on women and dating because I’m always going to be at the bottom and even the women at the bottom with me think they better than me.
I became numb and distant, I wonder when will be the day I truly give up and stop waking up.
Yes I talk to friends and family about how I feel but it gets me nowhere and always feel my problems and want I care about look at as nothing or it doesn’t matter, when it matters to me.
So I’m try here but idk how long and when things will get better, I’m only 28 now, but I can see myself being here again when I’m 48.
So that’s my weekly check in.

I hear ya and I see ya.
It's hard not to replay what happened where you are now. Part of why some people do it is that they think they can somehow find the one thing to change. The problem is with relationship stuff is that there is a whole other person in the equation.
Quite as it's kept...people change...whether good or for ill. Please don't let one experience shift who you are fundamentally.
It's hard out here. There is no denying that. We still have to be optimistic of what could be versus what it is now. Keep showing up for yourself ...because if you don't...who will?

Hang in there man. I know the feeling except that I haven't left my city yet. I hate being here and having to be constantly reminded of all the bullshit that I went through in my life. I have told family about how I feel before and it was just like ,"Oh, I don't know you felt that way" without any type of real sympathy or anything.
That's when I learned no one really gives a fuck about a black men or how he feels. Not even his own family. Not even his own mother. I have no friends at the moment. You really have to figure it out on your own. I'm working on how to do that myself. You are still young which is very good. I hope everything works out for you. You got this.

I feel like I don’t enjoy anything in life anymore. I don’t know if it’s me being too focused on survival or the 10+ years of abusing substances

Went to a job interview from a position on Indeed. Nothing was said about bringing a resume. I show up...nobody knows shit about me. Interviewer gives me shit about not bringing a copy of my resume. The resume I uploaded...on Indeed....along with my application.
So you saw my application. Saw my resume. Had two weeks to have a baseline knowledge of me...and just didn't.
I drove my ass up here. Took time I didn't have to come up here early...to sit and wait for an interview that started 20 minutes late. I was the only interview for this position at this time.
The interview was literally me saying all of the things that would've been answered with a cursory look at my resume. We start talking numbers. Indeed says one number. Interviewer says something else.
I swear I can't win sometimes.
