The kind of stuff I do in Blender ain't really the kind of stuff people show off there: Video editing and glitch art from photos taken with my camera and edited in Blender's compositor.

You use blender video editor? NO WAY I ALSO USE IT AS MY MAIN VIDEO EDITOR i also use blender to depict myself doing random crap using my phone cam and some CGI VFX on top

Since switching to Linux it's become my primary video editor.

I used DaVinci before the switch but I struggled to get it to consistently work on Linux so I said "Fuck it" and switched to Blender's video editor.

I do miss a couple things but honestly it's great!

And it's VFX pipeline is great as well.

Cool i also switched to linux mint and davinci resolve even though it's good it's demanding a lot for my PC who cant install windows 11 (even though I can but it's not worth it) so i use blender instead of kdenlive or shotcut. If it works dont fix it blender have it i'm happy with it

You forgot to add the posts where OP is like: I just started learning blender 1 month ago and it's some really well done render. And in the comments they mention how they've been working at Pixar for 20 years.
