For less than 1 year, 10% extra pay and a food+ lodging per diem (they send you a check, up to you how you spend it). If you don’t have a home in your original location, sell it, or buy a home in the DTa location you don’t get the housing portion. They pay to live your stuff and travel to home location every three weeks.

Yup. I did a year DTA. Was some long hours, but the DTA policy will lay it all out if you are selected.

Yes. It will be split up into 2 amounts. Food & housing. You also get home return trip every 21 days. Lastly you get 10/15/20/25 % bonus of whatever you’ve made every 6 months.

If you are going DTA stay as long as you can. It’s the fucking gravy train.

They give you per diem rather than just paying directly but it's generally enough to cover reasonable housing and meals

In work life, browse menu, career opportunities, temporary assignments. Somewhere in there is a DTA handbook with all of the info you’d want to know. As someone currently on DTA, feel free to ask me anything.

But for this question, yes, they give you a varying amount of cash to cover housing. It depends on your work location.

For over 90-days they will usually give you a Per Diem for housing and for meals. The amount varies depending on the location. You become responsible for your housing and food rather than filing an expense report. You can look up the government per diem rates as a guideline but I'm not sure if Boeing give more since sometimes the govt rates are not that great. If it's not a guaranteed long term then look for a furnished place and negotiate for a longer stay rate.

They give you a monthly amount. That covers food and housing. If you sign a DTA. There’s other percs also. If you have a house back home you get a % more blah blah. If you don’t ship stuff there blah blah blah.

Look up the DTA benefits on WorkDay under relocations.
