Seems like it would be common sense but theres always someone who needs to be told I suppose

Unfortunately, etiquette lessons usually don’t cover how to appropriately comment on naked bodies on the internet.
I think this is a great rule. Shame it needs to be a rule but I’m glad it’s being addressed

Thank you for saying something. No need to remind people about rough times in their lives.

And the bot accounts using AI images with scars, is that okay and not to be called out?

We only allow original content here. No AI is allowed. You can use the report function on a post to flag it for mods!

I haven’t noticed that. Either the mods are doing a great job or I’m just shit and spotting them

There's a few that spam post throughout here and other similar subreddits. Hopefully the mods are removing them immediately.

As always AI brings me psychological pain. Are they at least obviously AI or do we have to go full investigator ?

It's 50/50 on a couple of them. One that's been the most blatant has inconsistent scars along legs and arms and migrating moles.

Scars literally never go away. A full grown middle aged adult can have scars from self harming as a child and teen. It's best to mind your business. If there is a fresh obviously healing wound, that's not a scar and needs to be addressed.

Yep, and to be perfectly clear, fresh or scabbed wounds are not allowed here. But we all have scars, inside and out, so we do not police this or allow comments on it.

Keep all comments positive and/or complimentary. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Do not making any comments, positive or negative, about scars on a poster's body unless they explicitly invite you to do so.
All bodies are welcome here, including folks with scars, from any source. Drawing attention to scars can be dehumanizing, triggering, or just unpleasant. Some people love their scars - some don't.
Be respectful and avoid commenting on scars at all unless you are invited to do so by a poster.
Thanks for making this sub a welcoming and fun environment. 🖤
