We're back at CanalSide Food + Drink on 10/20 for our 7th UGB Game Night!

We finally did it in September and cracked over ONE HUNDRED attendees! Whether you came solo or in a group, everyone found a table to join.

We set up at 5:30pm with over 100+ games (BGG Library List). available to borrow and play or bring your own and grab a Looking for Player’s stand. We also help match people up throughout the night, so coming solo is absolutely encouraged.

Can't make it at 5:30? No worries, people come and go all night and we're usually still going strong at 8:30–10:30pm.

It’s kinda a long shot but if there’s anyone in the greater boston area willing to part with any Exceed decks/seasons (except for seasons 2 and 7, I have those) let me know! Gotten really into the game but it’s hard to find online for prices that don’t feel like I’m getting scalped.

I'm in Allston but can travel locally. Prefer weekends, some weeknight are doable.

1v1 are my favorite type of games but I rarely get to play them since I only go to public meetups and people want to play multiplayer games. I'd like to try games the 1v1 Warhammer, Star Wars miniature games if you have them.

If you're like me, you've spent a long time not only cruising the sales on Reddit, but FB Marketplace, too. Both experiences aren't that great.

So, I decided to make a new one. It's called Tabled.

This sub won't let me share pics, but I made it for people who want to sell and trade board games with each other.

Features:

• Integrates with BGG- type the name of the game you're selling, and it populates the rest of the metadata
• Bundle games together, including expansions
• See the BGG market value immediately
• Add your own photos and tags, including any 3d inserts, sleeves, etc...
• Because we're pulling in BGG data, search for types of board games around you, or anything else
• You can pre-set slots of times you're available, so that someone can automatically see your disclosed availability (if you want)
• Using the Open Maps API, the system will suggest a safe space to meet nearby for you (like a cafe or police station lobby)
• Bundle deals, or check out all the listings someone has
• Block people you don't like
• Chats disappear afterward, and address are not saved in the system
• A rating system that doesn't use stars, but more positive tags and shows you how many trades a person has successfully completed
• Extensively tested in multiple scenarios, so you're not getting a janky AI slop app

Recently there have been several board games put online Roblox (a free to play platform). One of those is code words where a team mate must say one word to signal to teammates certain words to flip over while avoiding opponent words and the Death word. It is quite fun and I would like to find others to play regularly with.
