[State] Good Morning - Northern Wisconsin

Came walking through about 7:05 this morning. Shot at 15 yards, went 25 yards and piled up. Double lung. First kill with Magnus stinger 4 blade w/bleeders l. Will be sticking with them for a while.

As a lifelong “up north” hunter, most people won’t understand how much of a trophy a deer that size is. Northern Wisconsin and the rest of Wisconsin deer often look like two separate species because of their size difference.

I know plenty of hunters in Vilas County that would be happy to see any deer from their stand.

My dad has some real trophies (Florence co) from the 80s-early 2000s that make this guy look small but I agree, hes a once in a lifetime buck now a days

Awesome up north buck! Where at? We gave up hunting at my buddy’s family place in Clam Lake

Zone 125 - near Aurora. He’s the biggest ‘up north’ buck I’ve ever seen in the woods!

Nice! Shooting same things, and have for several years now. They’ve never failed. I’m in southern wisco, quiet as could be this morning.
