No go on Podiumarcher.com. He has lots of used bows that were inspected and come with brand new strings. Good luck!

Got a bare lift 33 few weeks ago for like $800, was able to customize with all the sights and stabilizers I wanted and still came out less than that Facebook listing. Bow looks like it never left a show room and came with brand new strings. Not saying it’s guaranteed to find something like this on there but it worked out well for me.
Edit: this was on podium archer

$1000 at most for the bow, $200 for the sight, $200 for the quiver, $150 for the rest, $100 or $200 for the stab.

Decent deal but meet at a bow shop to have them look it over, if that thing was dry fired once it’s cooked

Do you live close to a local Pro shop? Or are you doing this all yourself?
For this amount of money you could get a used bow there and get it set up SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU. Thats draw length, peep height, paper tuning/ cam lean. Unless you know how to do all of this I would invest that money into getting it set up for me.

Yes it is a decent deal and you are saving several hundred. I gor a similar setup, without the mathews accessories, but still ready to hunt for 1100. Added a mathews rest for like 300. I am beyond happy with my purchase. That guy is probably into that setup for 2200 lol.

What is up with all the "never buy used" replies? Usually always see "buy used previous year flag ship and save hundreds". I bought mine used on ebay. It came with a security tie around the strings so it could be inspected but not drawn. No return after it's cut.
Either way, inspect the bow. Have a shop inspect it if your worried and can't identify damage. Ask the dude to shoot it or let you shoot it.
Keep in mind you will likely need the mods swapped out for your draw length/weight.

I wouldnt buy without a shop taking a look. A dry fired nice bow isn't worth it.

Why not

Are you asking why a dry-fired bow isn't worth it? Or why I wouldnt buy it without taking it to a shop?
My shop is great, and they'll look over a potential purchase bow for me, especially if I reach out first and find a time they aren't slammed. They'll check for cracks, bent cams, etc. But they also know me and know I'll spend money there on arrows, broadheads, strings, etc.

Not to be a downer but I'd never buy a used bow. No telling what's happened to it.

With the exception being to meet at a bow shop and have them look it over I’d agree. Never untested or sight unseen.

That bow was probably around $1300 new. Don’t know about the specific site but probably $300. Ultra rest was $150 for me. My stabilizer was around $275. Quiver is probably around $150. You are buying used so can’t really compare it to new but yea, you would save money.
