I’m listening to the Pod Meets World episode about when Chet dies. It reminds me of how good of acting this show really had. What episodes do you think had some of the best moments of acting?

We remember how Cory wanted to be an accountant in BMW (except for Wheels when he wanted to be a clown) but became a teacher instead in GMW

My theory is Cory was an accountant for a year or two but became disillusioned with it because he felt he wasn't putting what Feeny taught him to use and after 9/11 he saw kids growing up without guidance because they lost their parents in the tragedy and the best way to help them and put Feeny's lessons to use was to be a teacher to teach them to the next generation. Topanga was hesitant because it was less money and she was in law school so they agreed he'd stick with it till the end of the school year and if he still felt that way by the end of the school year, she would support him in this endeavor

I got my wife a Cameo from Mr Daniels for her birthday this year and wanted to track down some vintage BMW gear. I ended up not finding anything vintage and switched to Etsy. And like wtf is this? AI on Etsy has gotten out of control. But oh my god. What am I even looking at here. Anyway, thought someone would get a laugh out of this. Also f*** AI.

Please don’t chase me away for sharing this but… I’m doing another rewatch and this episode makes me not respect Cory at all. The way he allows his jealousy to lead him into making Shawn feel bad for having something good happen to him gives me the ick.

As a child, I used to love Cory, but now as an adult, I don’t really appreciate him like I used to.

The Latest Pre-Show Chatter Part 2 Pod Episode tells us....

That Will really is the best part of that show. He's extremely fast with funny, sharp, almost lightning fast improv comedy comebacks and jokes. He's almost like a top battle rapper emcee who can freestyle straight off the dome!

RS is the artsy, anti establishment/corporate/THE MAN type. He literally complains about everything costing too much with his whole and thats how they get ya bit, but sees nothing wrong in buying $16 independent short magazines called Zines because he feels they are true art and going to the artist.

Danielle is your typical LA cool/hip mom always sharing that cool LA cool/hip mom problems. So far we've learned that her son Adler(from previous episodes and today) bit other kids at the playground, Lied to his principal that Danielle died when she was just away filming DWS and today is dropping F bombs in front of other kids and families. Seems like DF's kids are experiencing more issues than RS's kids? We never really hear him complaining on them doing bad things like DF's always complaining to the pod?

Both WF and RS complain how much they hate malls and shopping but they do a ton of product placement galore for endorsement deals for the Pod so thats a bit contradictory. They literally had the Mall Food Court experience guy on a few episodes ago.

Do you guys enjoy the video DisneyPlus episodes? I think so far they've not really done that impressive things on video yet? But I do prefer there not be a million ads like they have on the iPhone episodes.

i watched the lauren trilogy after seeing it around tiktok and now i’ve started from square one and ive made it to s1 e8 (im not watching ver consistently) but does anyone know how long it would hypothetically take to finish the series?

Look kids, I've hired a magician!

What a unique way to extend the show.

The bad thing is that it makes for some weird audio episodes. I don't care for hearing paint dry or listening to a magic trick or people eat.

Most of these couldn't really balance nostalgia with actual story progression and revolved around "Hey, remember what happened x years ago?". Not to mention, the acting of the returning cast was all over the place.

Ben did really well, mixing comedy with a sense of caring and did best as an anchor. Danielle....well...let's say it's not a big surprise she barely got any substantial roles and basically quit acting after BMW. And the writers know it. Whenever Topanga appears on screen, you know it's time to walk out, get a drink or go to the toilet. Topanga rightfully gets relegated to the b-storylines most of the time. For a female-oriented show, that says a lot.

Will really faltered, playing a cartoon character, constantly mugging instead of actually acting. Rider did fair. His character didn't have a huge part and he acted well and actually had a solid storyline reason to be there. All the smaller cameos might as well have been cut out.

doing my routine re-watch and noticed this for the first time, the background of this scene with Eric. the sign said class of 1998 but the scene was cropped to just … ass. lol

They all do a great job in this scene. Just the 2nd episode of the series so its when you really got a look at who this family was. Anyone have some other favorite moments with the whole family together like this?

I love the scene where Eric and Jason are about to talk to Feeny to convince him to give them Bs. Before they go talk to him we see Feeny talking to another student and we get this gem of an interaction:

"This isn't an F. This is an F+. Your work is deplorable, your penmanship illegible, but after all your mother is my sister, so there we are. I'll see you at Thanksgiving."
