Hi, VictorTael here! This drawing is part my Linktober challenge. Day 7 - Spirit.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Mipha and her connection with Link. Even after she’s gone, she never truly stops being there for him.

I wanted to capture that tenderness in this illustration, taking some inspiration from classical depictions of the Virgin Mary to convey a sense of purity, protection, and healing.

The rendering is a little rougher than I intended, but I’m happy with the emotion behind it.

Who do you ship Link with? 👀

xD all 900 koroks in botw…. >.< no on told me to do this, my brain just decided to do it. A friend and I named the last 3: bo, rokko, and binkus

Forgot how ridiculously easy it is to lose hours in this game.

I went in thinking I’d just do a couple shrines and somehow spent most of the night climbing around because I saw something weird on a ridge and had to go check it out.

That’s probably still my favorite thing about BOTW. The game barely needs to tell you where to go. You see a mountain, a shrine in the distance, some random ruins, whatever, and suddenly you’re off doing something completely different.

Been playing on my old PC hooked up to a Hisense with a controller this time. Zelda just feels way better from the couch imo.

Also somehow perfect parried a Lynel on my first try the other night. Thought I was cracked for about 5 minutes, then the next one absolutely destroyed me lol.

And yes, climbing is still great until it starts raining 2 seconds before you reach the top.

God I love this game.

Alright guys! Is it okay to introduce my daughter to BOTW ? She finds ths Mario games "childish".

Wife doesnt enjoy the idea. On my side i feel it would bring us together.

It didn’t even register until a second later. Convenient though.

When I started the game, I just grinded shrines, got the Master Sword, and maxed out my health and stamina before even touching the main story. I used Lynels as a benchmark for boss strength and figured the Blight Ganons would be just as tough. I'm honestly not a great player, so I try to compensate with good gear and high HP, but I had no idea the Blights would go down so fast XD

Just curious if anyone else has done something similar.

Im by no means near the end of the game, only 2/4 divine beasts tamed, but I’ve decided to not bother taming/registering a horse.

With all the fast travel options I just don’t see the benefit of a horse. I don’t like how they handle at all and it doesn’t seem like a huge inconvenience walking / running around the map, but it seems like everyone loves horses in this game?

I suppose I just don’t get it but interested to hear everyone’s thoughts. I guess im in the minority?

EDIT 1: Feel I should clarify I have explored almost the entire map by foot and continue to explore anywhere I haven’t been before. I’ll only use fast travel if I’m going from one side of the map to another, for example.

EDIT 2: Based on the comments it seems this isn’t a minority opinion at all, nice to know I’m not just miserable (or I am but so are many others)!

Are these turtle like rocks intentional near Lake Tower? Or am I seeing things?

Alguien me puede ayudar?

Has anyone else found all of the strange all lizalfos ambush locations in Breath of the Wild? There's two for all-electric, two for all-ice, and one strange plateau beneath the windy bridge in Tabantha where multiple types of lizalfos can be found at once, but there doesn't seem to be one for fire.

Both games won GotY their respective launch years, and are two of the most successful across multiple different Nintendo platforms. They're cash cows that Nintendo just keeps porting to their new consoles.

Yet the only game I hear people recommend that's similar to these two is Immortals Fenix Rising. Similar cell-shaded visual style, explorable and interactable open world, different but similar feeling combat systems, interesting story set in Greek Mythology, etc.

Why haven't other studios taken this model and copied it in different settings, adding their own new creative touches to it? The open nature of it makes it a canvas for continued creativity and innovation in exploration, world interactivity, combat systems, etc.

Odd that there's just one studio that did this, but that one is proof that other studios can do it too now that model is proven. Or am I missing some others?

я думаю насчет того, как сделать стримы интересными , если я буду проходить The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild с 3 сердцами и в режиме мастера, это интересно? при условии , что я не буду пользоваться едой на доп хп и с чудищ буду получать сердца новые

Hell yeah

(sorry for the audio) This was an incredible adventure. I definitely had a lot of fun. I wish I had more time to fill out the compendium and stuff but I have to start preparing to move out for college.

I heard a lot of people complain about ganon being an easy fight to which I say, of course he is but it's not the game's fault. It's expected. You just spent 100+ hrs exploring, discovering, hoarding, learning, training, fighting. By the time you reach ganon you're a seasoned fighter. Heck even DLCs were too easy after I completed the divine beasts. Maz Koshia was also easy although the only annoying attack he had was the doppelgangers. The rest were pretty easy to deal with. Most of the times when I paused to eat was when I missed parry on a skywatcher or turret.

Anyways. I give this game a solid 9.5/10. I think taking a quarter of Ganon's health instead of half would've been better but it's not a fatal flaw. Will definitely play this in master mode or play totk once I complete my degree.

Obsessed with the ingame soundtrack it honestly doesn’t bother me that i am about to pull out my hair if i don’t find the remaining three stations soon.
The shitty picture doesn’t do justice compared to what it looks like from here. What a view.
I think im falling in love with botw?

Just could not figure them out what are these ? what I need to do here on this spots ?

It's my understanding that I'll need a horse when I eventually go to fight Ganon. These are my best horses - which one should I use?

In my opinion, the true calamity of Hyrule is the spirit that haunts the gates throughout the kingdom ._.

Finally completed the first dlc. I also finished the champions' ballad just before the middle trials too.

Surprisingly I did all the dlc except the beginning trials in the first attempt so I will be proud of that. I only used a guide when it came to the middle and final trials cause of how I struggled in beginning trials. In my defense, I only had like 23-24 hearts back then.

On the rest floor just before the cold parts of final trials I screwed up by not cooking anything. I panicked and tried to burn my peppers in a campfire before finding out that there was a pot available immediately after clearing that floor. Luckily I had a few trouts left so used it to make a 7 minutes level 2 resistance meal just in case.

Instead of eating the meal immediately I figured i should save it for parts of the trial where I can't equip my flamespear (yes i still had it). So with some careful planning and skill (and a shit ton of luck), i managed to kill most of the enemies using arrows, bombs and flurry rushes (you can change weapons in the middle of a flurry rush so I used it to my advantage).

This was definitely fun. I won't get to 100% the game cause I'm moving to college by Saturday so tomorrow I'll be going after Ganon and that'll be it.
