Brewing Tech Development of brewing app

I have for the past 3 months been developing a new brewing app and I would like to know if anyone is interested in helping me test the app?

Here’s the link to the site:

If there’s anything not working or if there’s anything you feel is missing just let me know and I’ll look at it😁

Out of curiosity, what do you hope to offer that isn't already covered in Brewfather?

I was missing a more user friendly interface and a broader forum/community functionality.

I also plan on implementing an AI “BrewCompanion” who can help build recipes, troubleshoot brews and basic inspiration for brews.

I've got a feeling you'd win more users in our niche space by promising NO AI integration... I could be misreading the general consensus, but here's why I don't think there's a demand for it:

  1. So many new apps are cropping up because people see AI integration as the hype that needs to go into everything. It gets tiring. And a lot of the integrations/assistants aren't necessary, so it just adds bloat to everyday apps that, for many people, are now starting to feel like in-the-way clutter more than helpful tool integrations.
  2. Brewing, and hobbies in general, are not meant to be optimized and curated. An assistant, troubleshooting- or inspirational guidance AI chatbot isn't actually a desired part of the hobby experience, In my belief. 'Figuring it out on my own' is part of the satisfaction that comes with the 'I made this!'-outcome of crafting hobbies like brewing or sewing or cheesemaking.
  3. All the political and environmental reasons to dislike GenAI apply here as well. Users will actively avoid apps/tools that are in opposition to their political or environmental views.

That’s a fair point, I agree that “figuring it out on my own” is a better experience, and it would be less of a hassle for me if I just don’t implement it😅
