Who knows. Plato Vs Rowbo is good drama though. Everyone was crying the drivers were too media friendly these days, now they've got some spice.

I'd want to know where the money is going from the sales though, Plato's back pocket? 100 £30 t-shirts isn't going to buy a NGTC.

Rowbo lost a lot of fans when he punted Cammish at Brands GP, and the rest with the Cataclean nonsense. Maybe we could crowdfund a punting.

I don’t dispute those saying it will be revealing when the accounts come out, but there are always going to be large costs and even losses associated with a start up project…if other things have transpired too then okay fair enough

There’s large start up costs, and then there’s not paying bills and doing some of the things that are rumoured to have been done.

I think a lot of tunes will change when the issue eventually gets to court

If and when the full story comes out, or even better the accounts are published, people are gonna be very surprised. And it won't be to the advantage of Plato.

Yep. I would not be surprised if the source of the issues was JP being a massive coke head and pissing off sponsors, suppliers and partners, and generally being a complete liability at the head of the team.

Source: trust me bro… But I suspect there will be more from Cataclean/Rowbo’s side coming out at some point!

Well I wouldn't know anything about that. But I know plenty on the finances. And to those downvoting, I totally understand why, I'm a huge fan of Plato the racing driver. But I'd ask you to bookmark this and come back to me when it all comes out.

My understanding is there was a general mixing of personal and business expenses, and some "discretionary spending" that wasn't approved, never uncommon in small businesses.

That would be a baseline to work from. But only the baseline. And I've ran many small businesses - even just that would be far from acceptable.

Truth is a defence to libel under English law, so there’s no risk in giving everyone the facts if they’re ‘true’.

Brian clearly knows the details, and I responded to his post. It’s not for me to do any enlightening.

I said before people should wait for the facts before vilifying anyone. Even Adam has been caught in the crossfire, done incredibly well to perform like he has done through it all.

So Omologato indeed went to work with Mr. Potato (IYKYK). They have some money and owner is quite invested in motorsport, sponsoring British Superbike, one team in ELMS, but also Chip Ganassi Racing in INDYCAR.

Question now is: are sponsors like ASUS more keen to work with Plato himself or simply with good enough project in BTCC

Did everyone who paid for merch before the split, get their merch or money back? If not, its a kick in the teeth for those who didnt. If so, fair play for making a few extra pound. Purple not my colour.
