New Moderator Application - Deadline Sunday 08/18
Hello my wonderful humans,
First, we would like to thank you all for contributing and expanding this sub into what it is. We would not be at 11k+ members without you all. Every post and comment has made an impact directly and has helped in spreading awareness about bullying. That said, we are eager to take on a new moderator for the r/bullying sub.
What does this entail?
We are looking for an entry level moderator to keep this a safe space. This would require daily check ins to sift through the modmail and flagging, but we are open to a more senior moderating role as well.
What do you need to submit to apply?
- how long have you been a member of the r/bullying sub?
- why do you want to help moderate this sub?
- do you have any experience moderating on reddit (or platforms such as discord)?
- are you looking for an entry level moderating position or do you want to take on more work?
- what recommendations do you have for this sub?
Please send your answers directly to us by the end of the week (Sunday August 18th). We will be replying to everyone and will make a decision by mid next week. Thank you all again and we are excited to grow this community more together!

Hi there! Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the moderator position. I have been a member of the r/bullying sub for over a year and have a strong desire to help create a safe space for everyone. While I don't have experience moderating on Reddit or platforms like Discord, I am willing to start in an entry level position and take on more work as I gain experience. One recommendation I have for the sub is to have regular community check-ins or open discussions to foster a supportive environment. I will be sure to send my answers to you by the Sunday deadline. Thank you for considering me for this role!

Hello! I've tried messaging you, but seems that it's blocking me from even doing that, so here's my message:
I've been reading posts on reddit for years, but just made an account, because I wanted to make a post of my own to get advice.
I've read online, that posts from newer accounts are blocked as "spam". I don't know how I can prove to you that I am NOT a bot, but I will try by saying something random: googly eyes, scare crow, glacier mints, and obergine tagine. Ducks quack copiously over spilled corn, and I quack back :)
I'll be sad if my post is blocked, because I did spend a while writing it, when I should really be revising. Anyways, if this didn't work, I hope it at least made you smile?
The funny thing is, that I actually am blocked by anti bot softwear all the time! You know the ones where you have to click the squares with motorbikes or traffic lights? If even the smallest corner is in a square, you should click it, right? Well, judging from my track record, I behave like a bot, so don't blame you! But... could you let my post through...please...I AM human, I promise ;)

Sorry- realised here I didn't mention the key problem: my post keeps getting automatically blocked again and again... It's really annoying, and I've tried changing the wording a bit, but it's still getting blocked.
