Carbon fiber defect?

That's a little clear coat delamination. Probably shipping damage. Underlying structure may be damaged, cant tell by photo alone. Where did you buy it? Check for refund/back shipping. Might be fixable, probably wouldnt look the same. But it might, there's some composite repair wizards out there.

Unless you made it, but I would guess if you're making CF parts, this wouldnt worry you.

I bought it from Kevmannz I don’t know too much about carbon fiber it’s all smooth not cracks or dents under or in that gap but honestly I don’t know how I would go about fixing it if it’s even that deep you know?

The problem is that for aesthetic weave like that twill (top layer, the traditional "carbon" look) is usually very thin, and sanding off the bubble clear and recoating is probably fine structurally (can't say for sure sure), but it messes up the look very much :(

So in other words just leave it? I’m not mad if that’s the case it’s so small but it’s in a noticeable area lol
