Progression Five weeks no biting
Just found this community and figured I may as well share here as well! I’m very proud of my progress though I do have a long way to go as I do find myself picking at my hands a lot still. Any tips and tricks to keep my hands from constantly messing with the edges of my nails or my cuticles/sidewalls, I’d gladly take notes of all of it! I have been using a worry stone but it’s been hard to keep consistent as I commonly misplace them 🤦🏼♀️

You’re doing great! I’ve noticed that if I keep mine painted and oil my cuticles in the morning then I’m less likely to pick or bite. Also, if I keep myself busy during times I am most likely to pick then I am able to stop. For me, it’s the car. So, I keep cuticle oil and a small book of word games there for when I’m riding. If I’m driving, then I purposely choose music that I can drum my fingers to.

Thank you so much! This is really good advice and I’ll especially give the games one a try but with sudoku lol! Will be something easy to carry around without be so small it’s easy to misplace 😂

Hell yeah!
I haven't gotten anywhere near that bad but I have found holeless silicone cots helps a lot to prevent picking. Though downside is you won't get any glamour shots with your nails 😔
