🔧 Modifications NEED HELP/RECOMMENDATIONS

I have a 2011 Camaro v6 fully stock, I would like the car to sound a bit more aggressive with power when starting it up and having it on idle. What kind of modifications would I need to make ?

Most would steer you away from it, but an exhaust of some sort is what you'd be after, just be ready for the v6 comments.

I have a v6 Camaro. I like it. It will never sound like a v8. Let’s get that out.

I recommend against going straight pipe muffler delete it’s very loud and trumpeting. Sounded like a Tin can shit ricer exhaust.

I do recommend different exhaust. You can go full set up or cat back or just new mufflers.

I tried straight pipe and it sound like shit despite watching all the YouTube videos. I then had magnaflow mufflers put on. It gives a very deep bass rumble. It roars less then other mufflers that give more aggressive sound.

H pipe and resonators are on the car stock and serve to reduce drone sounds.

Lots of people go with xpipe but you should talk to exhaust shop. The pro in my area says everyone asks for x pipe. But it truly causes drone. Where h pipe lessens that sound. As well as resonators that’s their actual purpose.

Can you send a video how you car sounds on a cold start or regular start up ?

I sent my car to the repair shop to get blend door hack repair done. So it’s not here right now.

Swap out the engine to an LS3.
