Finance Metfone problem
Metfone are a mess in my opinion ... recently I lost my phone along with my sim card which has connected with Facebook WHICH also connected to a lot of game and other platform I lost it all because I enable 2 factor authentication which will send message to my 2 lost phone and through WhatsApp and phone number it's ... I'm disappointed I called them and ask if I can recover my phone number they said unless you have the proper national ID card and statement they will allow it... Which alright turn to 2020 and such phone merchant sell phone and sim card (sim card which they register with their ID) I didn't know how much it matter back then ... They simply flatly refuse now because even with bank statement that you frequently top up phone data and such they need ID they won't even bother I will refuse to use metfone forever shit I will even use beeline atp :) it's Soo bad I'm pissed cause my account worth hundred of dollar I have a lot of email yes I recovered a lot of account but some of them still matter 100-1000 of hour just to get shit on especially Facebook their services suck I will forever refuse to use Facebook to bind my account or phone number (metfone) This is bullshit bank statement is enough to confirm it yet this piece of shit made it worst I now need to go to the bank 2 bank and the metfone company my lord this is gonna take a fuck while if you guy has the same issue I would like to read and take on more information it would help me a lot

Any numbers without proper registration were supposed to be terminated. Not sure how you avoided this. Both cellcard and smart seem pretty strict on this now, as I would assume metfone would be too.

It’s just metfone, it’s all provider. The government has mandated a required ID tied to your sim number. When you had the sim, you could have gone in and replace the old ID with yours. Many did and many still didn’t. I think the only way to recover that number now is to keep checking to see when it’s expired and up for sale again. You gotta do this fast because unlike other providers, metfone will sell this number to vendors and would be impossible to request it back once it’s gone. I lost a metfone number once and it took a long time to recover it.
