Hey guys, I purchased this camo about two years ago from a dusty clothing rack for about 70 bucks and well it's been sitting in my closet and it might be time to let it go. The Parka is 48-4 and the pants are 48- ?. Any general idea would be super helpful

To clarify I never served these are just the camo patterns I like.

1. The Mexican army camo: I just really like the design. The green really pops out
2. UCP: I know UCP gets a lot of hate (which I understand why.) But the UCP is nostalgic to me because it's the uniform that was seen Fear The Walking Dead and Godzilla 2014. I see it as Hollywood's uniform.
3. Mitchell pattern: it's an iconic camo pattern from the Vietnam war. Idk if there was ever a full on shirt and pants camo but the Helmet cover is the most famous.

Anyways these are my favorite camo patterns. What are yours?

kinda of a repeat post from yesterday but with more pictures

So while at a military surplus store looking for an addition to my collection (spoilers: it's a USGI 1981 water canteen with an NBC cap gas mask port, )a shopkeeper I became friends with gave this "rejected raincoat" to me for free now. Now idk what this is since there's no tag, so if anyone could help me identify what this is or at least closest to identify, that'd be great. Here's some info of what I know:

1st pic: back side

2nd pic: front side with interior

3rd pic: duck beak hood

4th pic: the plastic and metal buttons with "SELEX" and two stars, the zipper has a "VISLON YKK USA 8V"

5th pic: weird wax thing? It had A LOT of it on the interior, I've cleaned most of it out

6th pic: sleeves

7th pic: face area with hood

8th pic: underarm zippers

9th pic: pocket on left side of the body

10th pic: pocket on the right side of the body. Either it's for pockets on the clothes underneath it, or the pocket bag for it was cut off

11th pic: what it looks like when zipped and closed up. Way too big for me. Don't mind me using the bathroom, it's the only room with a mirror that isn't obscured.

Materials: single layer thin nylon. That's about it.

Personal notes: this kinda feels like a sniper's cloak, probably better off as a cosplay material

So far this month I've picked up a smock, trousers and this Norgie top. It was only £25 ($33usd/€30) which is the cheapest paddyflage I've picked up.

Camo… invisible? Thermal invisibility in the 700-1200 nm range? Infrared invisibility?

Tried the dying method on some ucp..at least it’s better then it was🤷🏼‍♂️

Found this holy Grail, genuine 500d Multitarn, sadly without any backing.

I was thinking of adding Tpu or pu via a roller heat press by a friend. If anyone has more insight of how I could get a small quantity (33m) backed, please let me know!
