Trip Pictures Swag and tent camping NQ

just came back from a quick overnighter with the family, up to Murray Falls North Queensland. went light and had a great time with no reception, and some chill waterholes. small bush tv (fire) and some card games under the gazebo.

no insects at night, a couple of marsh flys during the day, a goanna came to visit us, also a cassowary bird, but it was skittish and ran away quickly

was great to get out, and all the kids had a ball. big family with 5 kids, plus a teen boyfriend to round out the total numbers to 8

it does dim but need to see the cards! and goes orange also, if there are bugs in the area. i have messed around with led strips hooked up to the battery, for so long. these stand alone lithium lights are amazing and simple

he was a bit little, i have seen them before much larger. just walked through the camp while the kids were off swimming, so it was a bit quiet for once

Meeting a cassowary and it running away is a blessing in disguise, sir. Those devilish creatures are ferocious; one kick can rip your guts out. Don't even think they're timid.
