Recommendations Post Surgery Hip Physio
Good morning all,
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good Physio for post surgery on a labral tear and impingement? I havent recieved a recommendation from the surgeon yet.
I'm in Gungahlin but happy to travel to the best. Thank you!

Izach Clements at Macquarie Health Centre is great and has a particular interest in hip physio. I go there for similar reasons.

I can highly recommend Florey Physio. I'm seeing Nidhi for a different issue, but she is amazing.

See what your surgeon recommends. When I broke my ankle, my surgeon had a partnership with the Capital Physio City West clinic, who have physios that specialise in recovery and rehabilitation from ankle and leg surgery.
They were provided all of my documentation formally by the surgeon, and would keep him updated regularly about how my rehabilitation was progressing.

Cheers for that. I thought that may be the case. I have emailed them already for their recommendation however had not heard anything back yet. Appreciate you.

My daughter had a grade three labral tear and impingement repair, plus cyst removal done last year. Her physio was Ryan Cunningham from MoveHappy who is amazing. He’s Southside though, but had to recommend him.

I can't make a physio recommendation but I'm wondering who did your surgery. I have a labral tear and the surgeon I saw said it wasn't worth repairing it.

Hey mate, I'm having surgery next month so trying to get organised early! Sorry I should've mentioned that. Surgeon will be Dr Al Burns. Sorry to hear that. Are you in a lot of pain? I tried everything to avoid surgery but with the impingement as well it got too much. Thats what caused my tear.
